Steering Council Nominations
As the December 12th
Coalition to End Homelessness/CoC membership meeting draws near, it is time for
2020 CoC Steering Council nominations.
There are 5 current Steering Council members with terms ending this year and 2
members who have resigned. 7 seats are up for election. The Nominations Information document
includes the names of the incumbents whose terms are expiring and those
who will continue serving their terms. Included are the sub-populations
they serve or represent—please note these were limited to two (2)
sub-populations per organization so they may not be comprehensive.
How to Nominate:
Complete the Nomination Form for yourself or another
person. Save it as a Word document. Email
it to Emily at eschichtel@hwmuw.org
by December 2, 2019.
The Governance Charter contains a full
description of the Steering Council beginning on page 3. Important points
to note:
- Steering Council members serve three-year terms.
- The council meets monthly, the third Friday of the month, 8:30 am-10:30 am.
- Attendance is tracked. Each member is expected to attend a minimum of 75% of all Steering Council meetings.
- Steering Council members must serve on committees and work groups, including those organized by the CoC, those organized by external groups, or other existing community forums with relevant objectives.
