Special Steering Council Meeting

A special meeting of the Steering Council of the Grand Rapids/Wyoming/ Kent County Continuum of Care will be held at Heart of West Michigan United Way on May 3rd at 9am to review the petition of the Youth Committee, which requires action prior to the May Steering Council meeting. The petition includes:

  1. Request that the Steering Committee reconsider its decision to not apply for the Youth Homelessness Demonstration Project grant this year; and
  2. Request that the Steering Committee delegates, for this funding source in this year’s round only, their authority to the Youth Committee and Youth Action Board to select a lead agency and apply for the Youth Homelessness Demonstration Project grant
