The Longitudinal System Analysis (LSA) is an annual report submitted to the federal government on system performance. Together with the Point-in-Time Count (PIT) and the Housing Inventory Count (HIC), the LSA form the component parts of the Annual Homeless Assessment Report (AHAR) presented to the United States Congress. Systemwide reporting in the LSA allows for finer grained analysis than System Performance Measures (SPMs), however aggregate values for the LSA and SPMs are comparable (see this document for more information on the differences between the LSA and SPM).

The LSA provides measures of system performance for people and households served by the CoC during a given fiscal year at an aggregate level and at the level of demographic group, pattern of system use, special population, and outcomes for those who exit the system.

To access the Stella P dashboards for CoC LSA data, go to https://hudhdx2.info/ and log in or create an account.

LSA Summary statistics are available in the .xlsx file in the sidebar for the years 2018, 2019, 2020, 2022, and 2023. The 2021 LSA Summary is only available on HDX2.0 at this time.
