The Annual Homeless Assessment Report (AHAR) is a report to the U.S. Congress on the extent and nature of homelessness in America. The report is issued in two parts. Part 1 looks at data from “Point In Time” counts around the country for one particular day in January. Part 2 provides a full year of data on the demographic characteristics of homeless persons.
